1. Scope of this policy
This Refund Policy applies to paid educational programs, guides, and digital content purchased directly from Strainregen. It should be read together with our Terms of Use. Where a specific offer carries its own additional terms, those will be made clear at the point of purchase.
2. Cancellation period
As a consumer in the United Kingdom, you generally have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within 14 days of buying it. This period is known as the cooling-off period. Where it applies, you may cancel for any reason within that window by contacting us, subject to the conditions for digital content set out below.
3. Digital content and immediate access
Many of our programs are delivered as digital content that you can access immediately. If you ask to begin a digital program straight away, you may be asked to acknowledge that starting it during the cooling-off period can affect your right to cancel once access has begun. Where you have not yet accessed the content, your cancellation right within the 14-day period is unaffected.
4. How to request a cancellation or refund
To request a cancellation or refund, contact us using any of the details in section 11. Please include the name used at purchase, the date of purchase, the program concerned, and a brief note about your request. A clear statement that you wish to cancel is sufficient; you do not need to explain your reasons during the cooling-off period.
5. Refund timeframes
Where a refund is due, we will process it without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days of accepting your request. Refunds are normally made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you agree otherwise. You will not incur a fee for receiving a refund.
6. Partial refunds
In some situations a partial refund may be appropriate, for example where part of a multi-part program has already been delivered and accessed before cancellation. Where this applies, we will explain the calculation clearly before processing the refund.
7. Non-refundable items
Certain items may not be refundable once delivered, such as digital content that you have fully accessed or downloaded after expressly agreeing to waive the cooling-off period. We will always make any such conditions clear before you complete a purchase, so you can decide with full information.
8. If something is wrong with your purchase
If a program is not as described, is inaccessible due to a fault on our side, or does not work as it should, please tell us promptly. We will work to put it right, which may involve restoring access, providing a replacement, or issuing a refund where appropriate. This is separate from, and in addition to, the cancellation right described above.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Where this policy offers more than the law requires, that is a goodwill measure and does not reduce your legal rights.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our offerings or in the law. The review date at the top of the page shows the current version. The policy in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
